Tostadero Sol de Alba. Investment in Algeria

The case study Tostaderos Sol de Alba: Investment in Algeria describes the situation in 2011 of a small family owned business in the South of Spain, who manufactured and marketed dried fruit and nuts (exporting 60%), and was considering the possibility of investing in a plant in Algeria, along with its Algerian client, to supply the aforementioned country with its sunflower seeds and other dried fruit and nuts. The savings in tariffs, taxes and labor clearly favored the project’s profitability.
