On the occasion of San Fernando’s Day, the City Council of Seville has awarded Antonio García de Castro, one of the 23 medals of the City. In recognition of the entrepreneurial, innovative and professional work of San Telmo Business School, for which he is general director and professor of ​​Business Policy, he was awarded " for projecting a positive image of the Andalusian entrepreneur as a professional highly qualified and away from topics, and for his contribution to lifelong training and company’s progress in Andalusia."

The event, hosted by the journalist Cristóbal Cervantes and held at the Teatro Lope de Vega, began with a performance by the Municipal Symphonic Band, followed by the delivery of medals, according the agreement adopted in a plenary session of the City Council, in which it was adopted the list of honors and distinctions of the 2019 edition of San Fernando Day. The Mayor of the City of Seville, Juan Espadas, delivered each of the 23 medals of the city of this year to the personalities or entities awarded.
