Dr. Juan Luis Manfredi Sánchez
Juan Luis Manfredi Sánchez is Full Professor of Journalism and International Studies at the University of Castilla-La Mancha. He served as the Prince of Asturias Chair at Georgetown University (2021–2024).
He is a member of the Executive Committee and a former Chair of the International Communication Section of the International Studies Association (ISA). Before joining Georgetown, he was Academic Director at ESADE Business School, where he specialized in political leadership and public policy.
As a public intellectual and media commentator, he analyzes international affairs and contributes regularly to both print and broadcast media. His work appears frequently in CMM Radio Castilla-La Mancha, Cinco Días, NTN24 (a leading television network in Latin America), Agenda Pública, and Le Grand Continent (France).
He has been shortlisted for two journalism awards: the El Ciervo Award (2020) and the Citi Award for Journalistic Excellence (2015).
